Bowmen Of Charnwood

We are two friendly clubs with members ranging from 8 to 80 years of age.

We meet in Nuneaton at Higham Lane School in Nuneaton for all our shooting both indoors and out.

We are a Target club and welcome all bow types except crossbows.

We also welcome newcomers to the sport via our 'beginners' course and any experienced archers that are looking for somewhere to shoot.

In the summer months (May to September) we meet on a Tuesday and Thursday evenings (7pm - 9.30pm) for practice and competitions.

We also shoot on a Saturday from 10am till 1pm.

During the winter months (October to April) we use the main sports hall at the school which allows us to shoot a recognised distance of 20 yards so we are able to continue both practice and competitions.

In the winter months we currently shoot indoors, as above, on a Tuesday between 7.15pm and 9.30pm and for those that like the cold we also meet outdoors on a Saturday morning between 10am and 1pm.

We are affiliated to the County of Warwickshire Archery Association and also to the West Midlands  Area.

As a member you are also affiliated through the club to the Grand National Archery Society.
