Bowmen Of Charnwood

The junior club currently has 24 members between the ages of 8 and 18 and is a very popular and friendly club.

For the winter season of 2012 we shot in the main sports hall in order to enter the National winter indoor league.  We now know how many members we can accomodate in order to ensure that there is sufficient room for all to enjoy their sport. 

We also shoot outdoors throughout the winter on a Saturday morning between 10am and 1pm.  Yes I know it may get cold and wet but archery is an outdoor sport and it gives the opportunity to practice at lengths longer than the 18 metres available indoors.

In the summer months we shoot exclusively outdoors on a Tuesday & Thursdays from 7.15pm to about 9.30pm and also again on a Saturday from 10am till 1pm.

The junior members have discussed their 'team' colour's and decided on black T shirts with white lettering and white 'hoodies' with black lettering.

Club lettering will state, 'Team Charnwood' across the back.  (hopefully a few photographs will appear here shortly!)
